Intec Records
Intec Records was set up by DJ Carl Cox 1999 to capture and represent the blossoming international techno and house scenes. Eschewing a defined sound in favour of an open-minded agenda, Intec was quick to pick up on the cream of upcoming international producers such as Marco Bailey, Christian Smith, John Selway, Bryan Zentz, Deetron, Oxia, Renato Cohen and Trevor Rockcliffe. This international outlook has given the label a loyal fanbase across the globe and has resulted in sell out Intec shows and an insatiable appetite for Intec releases. So much so that Tomaz & Filterheadz – ‘Sunshine’ has gone onto sell well over 25K copies and along with most of the back-catalogue it continues to sell well today.
Carl Cox needs little introduction; the man has been at the forefront of the global dance scene for over twenty years. From the early orbital raves of the 80s through to the international club scene of today, he has consistently rocked the party with energy, passion and a commitment that few others can come near to matching.
